Homemade Dark Chocolate Sauce

Silky and creamy, this chocolate sauce is easy to make with just four simple ingredients: dark chocolate, light agave syrup, water, and vanilla extract.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. dark chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate bar)
  • 2 tbsp. light agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until chocolate is melted. Turn up heat just long enough to bring the sauce to a low boil. Whisk until smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Reheat in the microwave or in a small saucepan over low heat. Or, just keep it in the original saucepan on the stove top until youve eaten it all up!
