Espresso & Tonic with Ginger and Lime

Cold espresso with tonic water, fresh minced ginger and fresh-squeezed lime juice
Servings 1 Recipe per Drink

Ingredients

  • 1 shot cold espresso
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 3/4 cup tonic water
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Garnishes

  • 4-5 espresso beans
  • 1 slice lime

Instructions

  • Place ice in a glass.
  • Pour espresso over the ice.
  • Add ginger and squeeze lime into glass.
  • Fill to the top with tonic.
  • Garnish with espresso beans and lime slice.

Notes

It’s best to mince the fresh ginger, rather than slicing it, so that you don’t end up with big chunks of ginger. Add more or less lime juice to suit your own tastes.
